Cancellation terms

Please note that we will send all our bulletins concerning the dance lessons by e-mail to the e-mail addresses given with the registrations. Please also check your junk mail and advertisement folders in your e-mail as some of the services may automatically direct our e-mails into these folders. In addition please adjust your e-mail settings to make sure that you will receive all the e-mails into your e-mail inbox in future.

Cancellation terms 2024/2025

Cancellation terms (L/A-groups, LT-groups, EB-groups, AB1-groups, AB2-groups, Pojat)

The cancellations of the registrations and the dance lessons during the term are to be made to the office by email info@espoontanssiopisto.fi.

We accept all the cancellations only in writing (email). Notifying just the teacher is not considered as a cancellation. Not attending the classes without a proper written cancellation notification is not considered as cancellation.

Registrations to Espoon Tanssiopisto are made for the whole year i.e. both for the autumn term 2024 (12.8. – 22.12.2024) and the spring term 2025 (13.1. – 25.5.2025). The students who have participated in the classes in the autumn term do not need to re-register for the spring term.

The registrations to the classes can be cancelled with no charge by 26.8.2024. If the cancellations are made after this date the office fee of 40 euros will be charged. The cancellation of entries and the office fee of 40 euros applies only for the students who have not attended the classes at all.

If the start of the official term is to be postponed, the 14-day trial period from that point will be followed. During this period the cancellation notification must be sent to the office. After the trial period you are committed to pay the whole term according to the adjusted fee.

If the registration for the class has been made after the autumn term has already started, you can cancel or terminate the classes by the due date of the invoice with a written cancellation notification to the office. If an invoice is not generated automatically with the registration, there will be a normal 14-day trial period starting from the date of the registration. The cancellation notification must be sent to the office during this time. After the trial period you are committed to pay the whole term.

The invoice must be paid by the due date. The paid student fees can be compensated only by showing a medical certificate from a doctor.

The students who have attended the classes in the autumn term can, however, cancel the whole spring term by sending a written cancellation notification to the office. This notification must be sent by 15.12.2024. The spring term classes will continue normally if no cancellation notification has been made.

If you are changing a group in Espoon Tanssiopisto, please inform the office by email right after the registration to a new group has been made. We can then cancel the old group and change your invoice to the new group. Please note this when accepting a place from the waiting list as well.

We will start taking registrations from new students for the spring term in December 2024. The exact time will be informed on our website. If the registration has been made before December, the lessons start in the autumn term.

The new students who will start their classes in the beginning of the spring term can cancel their registrations to the classes without a charge by 27.1.2025. If the cancellations are made after this the office fee of 40 euros will be charged. The cancellation of registrations applies only for the students who have not attended the classes at all. The new students in the spring term who have attended the classes can terminate the classes during the year by sending the cancellation notification by email to the office. The classes can be cancelled without a charge by 27.1.2025 or by the due date of the invoice if the registration for the class has been made after the spring term has already started. After this date you are committed to pay the whole term. If an invoice is not generated automatically with the registration, there will be a normal 14-day trial period starting from the date of the registration. The cancellation notification must be sent to the office during this time. The invoice must be paid by the due date. The paid student fees can be compensated only by presenting a medical certificate from a doctor.

The cancellations of the registrations and the dance lessons during the term are to be made to the office by email info@espoontanssiopisto.fi.

The registrations to the classes can be cancelled with no charge by 26.8.2024. If the cancellation is made after this date the office fee of 40 euros will be charged. The cancellation of registrations and the office fee of 40 euros applies only for the students who have not attended the classes at all.

Students who have attended the classes can terminate the classes during the year by sending the cancellation notification by email to the office. The classes can be cancelled without a charge by 26.8.2024 or if the entry for the class has been made after the autumn term has already started, before the two week trial period has ended. After the trial period you are committed to pay the whole term. The invoice must be paid by the due date. The paid student fees can be compensated only by showing a medical certificate from a doctor.

If you are changing a group in Espoon Tanssiopisto, please inform the office by email right after the registration to a new group has been made. We can then cancel the previous group.
